Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8" shows 27 member team. Players shown include Maranville, Bottomley, Frisch, Haines, and Hafey. Photo is ©Block Brothers and has club logo at lower left of front. Emulsion is a bit yellowed with age but image area is crisp and clean. Unused and VF. Issued the same year the Cardinals won the National League Pennant but lost the World Series, as they were swept by the Yankees in four games. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
