Item Description
This piece is 3.25" tall with brass hanger holding blue ribbon joined to oval medal which has W&H maker's name on the reverse. Front shows figure with shield and sword accented by both flame design and a olive branch with text "Nov. 24. 1917 New York." This medal was issued to committee members of the event designed to raise funds for the Allies fighting in WWI. Tiny traces of age but Exc. and with near full luster. Only example we've seen.
