Auction #183 - Part II
Item numbers 1292-2528 in auction 183
Item Description
8.25x9.75" white unlined sheet contains mathematical equations and
scientific computations written in Einstein's own hand. Below his work he has
signed the page about 2" from bottom slightly off-center of page. Paper has a
"Howard L..." water mark and was at one time pasted to another page, it has been
removed and some paper and glue residue remains along top back margin. This
residue shows through very slightly in a 1" square area in upper right corner
but does not interfere w/any of Einstein's notes. Bottom right corner has a 3"
crease and page has aged lightly. A very nice presentation piece. What notes
pertain to is not known. As Einstein said, "The Whole Of Science Is Nothing
More Than A Refinement Of Everyday Thinking." Fine to VF w/Exc. signature.
Comes w/letter of authenticity from Hake's.
