Item Description
Signatures of two of baseball's greatest players appear on this lightly aged official National League ball. Both played for the Boston Red Sox 1907-1908. Has facsimile black signature of National League President Ford A. Frick. The two 1937 Baseball Hall of Fame inductees have signed this ball, both in black ink. Young has signed slightly off-center of the sweet spot and slightly stronger signature than Speaker, Speaker has signed adjoining side panel which has some lt. wear to signature from handling. Side panel opposite Speaker signature has some surface rubs and what appears to be a possible signature removal. The area where these rubs occur are aged and do not affect display possibilities of both names. Signatures are quite legible and would display nicely. Comes w/letter of authenticity from Hake's.
