Item Description
Turkey Red cabinet cards were obtained by mailing in coupons found in Turkey Red, Fez and Old Mill brand cigarettes. This large format card measures 5.75x8". Choice art on front, back is variety with checklist that has ordering information. This exceptional card series consists of 100 baseball players and 25 boxers. This card features "Pittsburg" Pirates star Tommy Leach. He participated in the first modern World Series in 1903 with the Pittsburgh Pirates where he became the first player to get a hit and score a run in a World Series game. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
