Item Description
7x9-1/8" glossy has superb image showing Mays in uniform #24 shaking hands with dignitaries in crowd at stadium. The 1954-55 team had a roster which included Roberto Clemente which helped the team win the National and Caribbean championships by sweeping their respective series. Reverse side has International News photos ink stamp. A few minor curls at bottom edge just visible in reflected light, o/w photo is Exc. A superb image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
