Item Description
Each is 7x9" glossy. First photo is dated May 15, 1937 on reverse, Feller's second year in the big leagues. Photo shows him in Cleveland Indians warm up jacket talking to player from Chicago White Sox. Paper caption on reverse includes text "Back In Uniform After Graduation" noting Feller's high school diploma is neatly and securely packed away in mothballs. Photo has lt. rippling due to caption on reverse being glued into place. Fine. Second photo shows close up of just Feller's hands c. 1940 with pencil text caption on reverse "The Powerful Hands And Fingers Of Bob Feller". Interesting image. Corners have a few lt. creases just visible in reflected light. Overall Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
