8.5x11" magazine with 32 bw pages has red accent covers. Front cover has classic photo of Robinson wearing Kansas City Monarchs uniform holding bat with inset photo of baseball crowd in stadium in background. Back cover has “It’s Wilson In The N.N.L.” baseball ad with photo of Jerry Benjamin of the Grays about to catch ball. Yearbook is loaded with Negro League teams and stars. Team photos include Cleveland Buckeyes, Memphis Red Sox, Chicago American Giants, Kansas City Monarchs including Jackie Robinson, Homestead Grays including Josh Gibson, Philadelphia Stars, New York Cubans, Newark Eagles, Elite Giants, and San Juan Baseball Club. Individual photos include Satchel Paige in Monarch’s uniform with Bob Feller, Fred Haney, and Pete Gray; Coach Bill Bell; Newark Eagle Manager Bizz Mackey, Jonas Gaines; Joe Pennington; Managers Jim Taylor and Frank Dunkin, Don Newcombe, Roy Campanella, and one page with five photos of Jackie, four showing him in action wearing Montreal Royals uniform. Issue also includes “1945 All-America Team” with photos including Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard, and Avelino Canazires. Covers have some dust soil and lt. creasing with bit of wear along spine. Front cover has 1x3.75" moisture mark at lower right and back cover has a few moisture marks at lower right as well. Overall cover is Good and contents Fine/VF. Incredibly historic yearbook, the last year Jackie Robinson would play in the Negro Leagues before he broke the baseball color line with his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947.
