Auction #204 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1446 in auction 204
Item Description
A gem-condition 15/16" ferro from 1860, unlisted in Sullivan but listed as Hake 3012. Portraits and names of Bell and running mate Edward Everett on front and back surrounded by lustrous brass circle with border covered in dark green velvet plus matching green cord at top. Couple of trivial craze lines across Bell's name, but visible only with magnification. Strong, clear images. Scarce variety and exceedingly rare in this top condition. Our last example this nice exceeded $800.
