1-1/8" (29mm). Front reads "John Bell And The Constitution" while reverse reads "Edward Everett And The Union." The Bell side is slightly dark but the emulsion is near 100% complete with just the slightest hairline of emulsion off the extreme lower right rim edge. In reflected light there is a faint 1/8" hairline scratch on his forehead but with normal viewing this does not show. The emulsion on the Everett side is 100% complete. There are microscopic abrasions but to the naked eye the condition displays perfectly. Although just a little larger than the standard 25mm sizes, this size and with slogans is much rarer than the typical variety. See preceding item for the Douglas mate.
