Item Description
1.25" celluloid covered button with fixed vertical bar pin on the reverse and backpaper from the Cincinnati maker Pettibone. Nice oval photos of Lincoln and black American, former slave and spokesman for abolition of slavery Frederick Douglass. The item also carries the date of "January 1." About the third example we've seen in 45 years. Exc. and displays Mint.
