Item Description
These pieces are 2.5" to 3.5" tall. First is a pin back for 1905 event at "Gwyn Oak Park." Second is double sided celluloid (crossed flags on reverse) with silver lettering on the ribbon "F.U.A. No.231." Back of ribbon has W&H paper label. Third has group initials at top "P.S.O. of A." picturing Washington on a small star within a shield. Back paper by Weber of Reading, Pa. Fourth is 1.25" nice color portrait of Washington with Keystone Badge, Reading back paper. This once had a small insert in the brass bar hanger. No printing anywhere. The ribbon itself has a very long fabric split and a couple of smaller ones but they are hairlines not showing much. The cello remains Exc. Last is all brass and rwb enamel. Large rectangle at top shows Washington and troops in their boat crossing the Delaware. Surrounding text "National Camp Sept 1913/Trenton New Jersey." Suspended below is very high quality brass shield in rwb enamel with center highly detailed raised portrait bust of Washington beneath the group letters "P.O.S. of A." This piece is extremely well made and reverse carries name of maker Robbins Co. With the exception of the one ribbon condition is essentially Exc. to Mint. A very attractive group.
