Item Description
Envelope is 7.25x10" with return address "Brooklyn Dodges Ebbets Field Brooklyn, N.Y." with title and date written on pencil on front. Envelope is worn with some edge tanning and dust soil with 3" tear at lower corner. VG. Paper photos are each 6.5x9" with closeup image of players in uniform with facsimile signatures. Includes Pee Wee Reese, Joe Medwick, Leo Durocher, Dolph Camilli, Harry Lavagetto, Mickey Owen and Dixie Walker. Pictures have slightest aging but overall NM. Nice group for team that won their first pennant in 21 years in 1941, lead by manager Leo Durocher, but lost to the New York Yankees in the World Series. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
