Item Description
11.25x22.75" overall India ink and watercolor for proposed 1950s Buster Brown dancing premium figure. Has segmented accordion-like body designed to have strings attached to holes at top of head, used to bounce figure up and down as though it were dancing. Art is the classic one used for promoting Buster Brown Shoes showing him wearing shorts and winking. Includes hand-lettered text at bottom between shoes “Buster Brown America’s Favorite Children’s Shoes”. Some lt. pencil under drawing as designed, otherwise bright and VF/Exc. Great for display.
