Item Description
c.late 1960s for a premium that was never produced. 9x13" art board has thin mat with 8x10.5" opening revealing ink and colored pencil art on sheet of vellum art paper. Cap’n Crunch is shown using a “Magic Magnetic Wand” under a platform shaped like a ship deck titled “Good Ship Guppy” which has four figures on top with one spinning from wand actions. Figures include Cap’n Crunch, Sea Dog, Carlyle, Brunhilde, Otis. Lower left has image of “Cap’n Crunch Poop Deck Theatre Script Book With Scene Changes” with image of Cap’n Crunch with text just beneath “6 Different Acts With 6 Background Changes Only 00¢. Send For Your Theatre Today” with arrow pointing to facsimile coupon at right. Several areas of text have lt. lead pencil ruling marks otherwise art is Exc. Nicely designed. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
