Large, highly detailed and very impressive sculpture atop solid wood base with overall size of 7x11x11" tall. From an edition of just 100 produced for the 2000 Official Disneyana Convention at Walt Disney World. Issued at $1,795 and it was an instant sell-out. Based on the 1954 short "Dragon Around" Chip is depicted as a knight holding lance and riding Dale like a horse. Front of base has plaque reading "Disney 2000/Disney Legend Bill Justice" and this has been hand-signed by Justice in gold paint pen. Back of the sculpture includes convention logo and sculpture information including "Sculptor Bruce Lau White Horse Studio" and edition number "19/100." Disney legend Bill Justice began his career at Disney in 1937 and is known for developing such memorable characters as Chip and Dale and Thumper as well as his contribution to 75 animated shorts, many starring his creations.
