Gettysburg. Back cover has text of Lincoln's Gettysburg address. Extremely limited distribution. Covers have some aging with tiny bit of insect damage here and there. Overall covers VG, contents VF. Jack Burnley was the first artist to work independently of Joe Shuster on Superman, penciling over 100 covers for DC Comics before leaving in 1947 to resume his newspaper sports cartooning career. Fred Ray began his career with National Comics in 1940 and was cover artist on "Superman's Christmas Adventure" and is also noted for redesigning the "S" on Superman's chest.
