Item Description
3-3/8x5-3/8" with wonderful image of young batter standing next to home plate which is made of two wooden blocks with mask-wearing catcher kneeling behind wearing mask and holding mitt and large crowd of kids watching game in bkg. along with priest. Front has additional text "Coeur d'Alene" which translates to "Awl Heart." This Idaho Native American tribe referred to themselves as "The People Found Here." Card is postmarked Oct. 21, 1910 and was mailed from Washington state. Trace of lt. handling wear and bit of lt. dust soil. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
