Item Description
c.1950s. 4x6" with nice cartoon image of batter wearing striped uniform being startled by three tier birthday cake flying past him as catcher ducks. Bottom of card has script text with names featuring HOF'er "Lefty" Gomez as well as "Rip" Collins, Ray Kolas, Bill Styrmoe and Kay Tronstad. A few tiny color rubs around extreme edges, top portion of front has a few lt. surface ripples. Image area otherwise bright and Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
