Item Description
7x11" slick stiff paper "Compliments Seattle Rainiers Baseball Club" has nice photo by Bill Sears showing 24 members in Rainiers uniforms plus three more inset in circles at top. Bottom of photo has players names. Maury Wills is in the middle row along with HOF Manager Frank (Lefty) O'Doul. Exc. The Rainiers played open class ball with the Pacific Coast League and had a win/loss record of 87-80 in 1957. Maury Wills would go on to play with the Spokane Indians in 1958 and 1959 and the Los Angeles Dodgers in late 1959, staying with them until 1972. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
