5.75x8.5" soft cover ©1948 published by Fred P. Hutchinson. Front cover has nice art of batter Heinz Becker, Milwaukee Brewers' 1947 batting champion. Cover logo includes letters "O" designed as baseballs. Contains 80 pages with numerous photos and stats. HOF Catcher Roy Campanella is on page 55 and outfielder Henry Bauer is on page 22. Other players of note include Frank Mancuso, Wesley Hamner, and Ralph Houk. Managers of note include Al Lopez and Walter "Smoky" Alston. Page 75 has nice photo of 1947 A.A. All-Stars including Alvin Dark, Hank Bauer and Wes Westrum. Fourth page has full page photo of 1947 Junior World Series Champions Milwaukee Brewers which includes Alvin Dark. Covers have some handling wear with a few lt. corner creases and lt. pinch creases along spine. Overall cover is Fine, contents Exc. Comprehensive and well done. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
