Item Description
Each is 3.5x5.5". Twelve printed cards have photos relating to camp at Framingham MA. Includes rookie volunteers in civilian clothes trying to march in step, governor's day review of the militia, 9th Regiment on way to camp, 8th Regiment resting, and Governor McCall at review. Four real photo postcards are titled "National Convention American Legion St. Paul, Minn" printed by Co-Mo Company Minneapolis. Scenes show activities on crowded parade route including float with apparent queen and her court, Shriners, and Iowa delegation marching in civilian clothes. Last postcard has vertical crease at right side, a few have lt. dust soil here and there but overall group is postally unused and Fine/VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
