Item Description
c. 1917-1920. Each is 3-3/8x5-3/8" from Massachusetts areas Oxbridge, Worchester, Milford. Each has nine views from sets of two parades. WWI group includes troops marching, military band, Red Cross nurses with two carrying "Buy Liberty Bonds Back Up The Boys" sign, horse drawn wagon with Uncle Sam and military members, Red Cross caravan, and people riding in bus titled "Tourists Last Trip Bonds For Us". Cards have random numbers and go up to 32. Second group includes women on Italy float, military vehicle with soldiers and cannon, Ancient Order of United Workmen float with woman and young boy, Central Woolen Mills and Stanley Woolen Co. wagon with soldiers, and troops lined up on field. Several cards are a bit faded otherwise group is Fine/VF. All are postally unused. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
