Item Description
See previous item #2193 for Conan cover art by Jankus. Each is India ink on translucent paper done for "Isaac Asimov Science Fiction" digest. First has 11.5x15.75" image area done for May 1988 digest story "King Of Morning, Queen Of Day" by Ian McDonald showing pretty young woman in forest surrounded by sprites and ghouls. Art is initialed at lower right center and has artist's name and address printed in ink at blank bottom margin. Second original has 10x14-1/8" image area for November 1988 digest story "I Love Little Pussy By Isaac Asimov". Art shows large cat behind bars startling elf-type in foreground. Art is signed in bottom center "Jankus Copyright 1987". Each sheet has a few minor handling creases but image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Superb highly detailed pen work on each. Each comes with Fine issue of the digest the art appeared in.
