Item Description
8x10" glossy with image of Armstong holding his trumpet has bold ballpoint pen signature at upper right "Best Wishes To Agnes From Louis Armstrong". Bottom has printed text "Louis Armstrong Perched On His Throne In His Role In Cabin In The Sky", dating this photo to 1943. Bottom right side has his manager's name and address. A few minor handling creases just visible in reflected light. Fine. Wonderful image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
