Item Description
8x10" vintage glossy showing Sharkey in civilian clothes relaxing with a friend is boldly signed in fountain pen ink "To Jack Bocherru With My Best Wishes Jack Sharkey 6/15/32". Lower right corner has creasing repaired with transparent cellophane tape. Overall VG. Signature is bold and would frame nicely for display. Sharkey won the heavyweight title by defeating Tommy Loughran in 1929 and became World Champion in 1932 after beating Max Schmeling. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
