Item Description
4.75x6-7/8" glossy showing Garcia in uniform about to throw a ball has ink stamp on reverse "Por Agraz". Reverse has his name written in ink at top. Image area has trace of lt. dust soil at right side with small number "9" ink stamped at top right. Overall Fine. A superb image and pose. Garcia played for the Almendares, Santa Clara and Habana teams between 1926 and 1948. He threw the fifth no-hitter in Cuban League history in 1943. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1969. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
