Made out to cash for $50, check #4237 is dated July 14, 1937 and has July 13, 1937 cancellation stamp on reverse. Ruth has signed check w/his birth name's initials "GH Ruth." Check has usual and typical handling wear and cancellation holes. Slightly trimmed left edge and .75x1-3/8" corner loss at upper right corner. Faint vertical crease at center, though none of the mentioned issues in any way affect signature, which remains bold. Comes encapsulated in plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder. Check itself is VG, signature is Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and PSA/DNA LOA.
