Item Description
Each is approx. 3-3/8x5-3/8" c. early 1900s-early 1930s. Includes: "Dreamland Boys Band Redding Cal" group standing in front of Dreamland Motion Picture theater with sheriff nearby and poster on wall for "A Sisters Love", seven member band in front of large banner with town identified on back Herkimer, N.Y., four man group including snare drum and saxophone, "Young Democratic Colony Band Of South Dakota" showing 13 members in costume, "Brown's Family Orchestra Wilmington, Del." band in costume on field with five young members holding instruments, "The San Su Strutters At Rockaway Beach" six member female band with instruments with man with megaphone in center, and "Burk And Leins" eight member band on bandstand with instruments. Makers include Azo and Leonar. Three are postally used and one has ink note on back. Trace of lt. dust soil and bit of lt. aging here and there but overall group is Fine/VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
