Item Description
Each is approx. 3-3/8x5-3/8". Vivid images include flooding in Albany, NY and Cairo, Ill., fire on Ocean City, NJ boardwalk, tornado touching down at Antler, ND, car wreck in Nebraska, and ice covered frozen farm in Peterson, IA. Two are postally used. Makers include Azo, Defender, and Cyko. Emulsion is a bit yellowed on three, card showing hail stone damage has silvering to image, otherwise image areas are relatively clean and Fine. Interesting glimpse at the early 20th century version of breaking news. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
