7.25x10 3/8” sheet of personal stationary has bold india ink image of happy Briggs smoking cigar. Art is inscribed “Dear Mr. Nitchie- Many Thanks For Your Letter - Sincerely Briggs N.Y. Herald Tribune 25” with additional note “New Rochelle Jan. 16 ‘25” at bottom. Sheet has one horizontal and two vertical folds as mailed, mounting traces on reverse, otherwise Fine. Wonderful art of the cartoonist noted for “A. Piker Clerk, When A Feller Needs A Friend, Ain’t It A Grand And Glorious Feeling?” Comes with Hake's COA.
