From same set as #1121. Card front reads "Marcell, S. Clara B.B.C." Bold image. Nicknamed "Ghost", he is considered by many to be the greatest fielding third basemen in Negro League history and was rated ahead of Hall of Famers Judy Johnson and Ray Dandridge in the 1952 Pittsburgh Courier player-voted poll of the Negro Leagues' best players. He participated in two Negro League World Series, both for the Bacharach Giants. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
