Item Description
From same set as #1129. Card front reads "Santa Clara B.B.C. Pedroso-Pitcher." Slight margin trim but both sides of card remain very clean and image is bold. Eustaquio Pedroso was a pitcher who played from 1907 to 1927 in the Cuban and Negro Leagues for such teams as Almendares, Havana and Cuban Stars West. In the 1909 Cuban-American Major League Clubs Series, Pedroso pitched an no-hitter against the Detroit Tigers. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1962. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
