Item Description
#2755 by Bunnell dated 1921 at bottom for Scranton, PA silk factory women’s team. 11-3/8x13.5” cardboard mount has 7.5x9.5” opening revealing wonderful image of 11 members in uniform and wearing silk stockings sitting on steps w/man in suit at center. Baseball equipment in foreground includes bats, balls, gloves, and shin guards. Mount has bit of wear around edges from previous framing. Good. Photo is a bit light, otherwise Fine/VF. Sharp photo of players, happy to be out of the factory and ready to play ball. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes w/Hake’s COA.
