6.5x8.5” glossy has great image of an elated Easter in chef’s hat serving food. Reverse side has newspaper clipping w/ink stamp date “Dec 23 1953” noting Luke Easter dining room was opened in the Majestic Hotel, Cleveland “By The Tribe’s Big First Baseman”. Photo has minor rippling from applied caption, reverse has a few pencil editorial notes. Image is Exc. First baseman Easter played with the Homestead Grays 1947-48 and the Cleveland Indians 1949-54. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
