Item Description
c. late 1950s design for a proposed premium. 9.25x12.5" art board has thin mat with 8x10" opening revealing ink and colored pencil art and text on sheet of vellum art paper. Image has three guns: “Frontier Scout, Bat Masterson Special, Wild Bill Hickok Marksman” pointed at “Get One Free Inside” target. Bottom has boy shooting rubber band gun at target as girl watches. “Post” logo at lower right is an applied stat, all else is original art and hand lettered text. Exc. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
