Item Description
c. 1960s designs for proposed premiums. Each is on a vellum sheet w/6.75x8” image area in lead and colored pencil attached to art board. First has image of boy blowing on toy causing clown to spin. Bottom has instructions and text “Get The Spin-Action Acrobat Too”. Second design has boy dressed as magician promoting “ Get One Of These Four Magic Tricks Free In This Box!” Examples include: “Magic Pyramid, Mystery Bottle, Jumping Peg In Paddle, Disappearing Coin Rings”. “Post” logo on each is an applied stat, otherwise all else is original art w/hand lettered text. Blank margins have tanning from cellophane tape, both image areas are bright and Exc. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
