Item Description
4x4x.25" thick hard rubber miniature baseball home plate. c. 1950s. Top of plate has embossed logo with "SR" (Seamless Rubber). Text below reads "Major League Save-A-Leg Home Plate - Patented - Official - The Seamless Rubber Co. - New Haven, Conn." Small crazing and tiny chips along beveled edges. Does not affect top text which has some aging. Fine. Among the most interesting salesman samples we've seen and only the second we've offered in our 47 years, our last example selling for $407.
