Lobby card is 11x14” for 1930 original release Mascot serial “The Lone Defender ‘Episode 2 The Fugitive’”. Photo at lower right is signed in ink “ 7/12/84 To My Friend Ben Greberman Nat Levine”. Signature is in dark area, inscription is a bit hard to read. Minor creases at upper right. Fine. “The Vanishing Legion: A History Of Mascot Pictures 1927-1935” 6.25x9.25” hardcover w/216 pages ©1982 Jon Tuska has lengthy ink inscription on title page “3/21/84 To My Friend Ben Greberman Whose Enjoyment Of The Pictures I Produced Decades Ago Makes Me Feel Young Again And Despite My 84 Years of Age Is An Incentive To Make More Pictures. Perhaps I Will For The Drive And Desire Are Still A Part Of Me. Best Wishes, Nat Levine”. NM. Levine (1899-1989) produced 105 films between 1921 and 1946. Stars included Gene Autry, Tom Mix, and Ken Maynard. Both signatures were signed in person. Comes w/Hake’s COA.
