Item Description
15/16" brass. One of three varieties in D/S. Obverse has portrait and name. Reverse reads "Hero Of New Orleans." This variety has 38 leaves and 18 berries. Obverse has small and faint "5" in a circle scratched very lightly on the right background. High details are lightly worn. Surfaces are coated in a thin glossy substance that shows only with magnification. The piece displays very attractively with golden brass tone.
