Item Description
3.25x5.5" generic postcard has inked address on front. Reverse has black felt tip pen signature of Fred Merkle, a MLB first baseman from 1907 to 1926, playing w/the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Although he had a lengthy career, he is best remembered for a controversial baserunning mistake he made w/the Giants at age 19 (he was the youngest player in the League at that time). Postcard is lightly aged but Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
