Item Description
The enamel pins are about 1-3/8" tall while the button is 7/8" with back paper by Hassan Cigarettes. Button has artwork by creator "Herriman." Cartoon shows Krazy being hit with a brick accented by word "Pow!" and surrounded by text "Don't Be A Krazy Kat." One of the very few buttons to picture Krazy with artwork by his originator. The other four pieces are enamel on brass pins. On the first he walks with a banjo. A little bend on the reverse pin but no other damage. Next is him with a flag over his shoulder that reads "If You Can Read This You're Too Darn Close." Exc. Next is Krazy dancing. Tiny enamel chip off his one ear. Last has Krazy dancing in the same pose but here rather than having enamel eyes tiny prongs hold a pair of red rhinestone eyes. Five scarce pieces from the Richard Merkin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
