Item Description
6.5x8.5" photo signed by one of the greatest inventors of the late 19th and early 20th century. Edison invented the incandescent light bulb, phonograph, motion picture camera and hundreds of other devices. He was awarded over 1000 different patents during his life. Photo is signed in usual "Thos. A. Edison” in the lower left hand corner in black ink, which has faded slightly but is still very distinct. Photo also has ink stamp of "Underwood & Underwood", a stereograph studio based out of New York City. This photo was released for publications purposes. Photo is Exc. with a VF signature which is still very distinct. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Hake’s.
