Item Description
Nov. 5, 1935 contract issued between Kunsky-Trendle Broadcasting Corp. and Earle Graser. Three typewritten onionskin sheets, each 8.5x13”, for period Dec. 24,1935 expiring June 24,1936 pay Graser $75 per week eventually going to $90. Page three is signed at the bottom in ink “Geo. Trendle” and “Earle W. Graser”, w/Brace Beemer ink signature as witness. Page one has top edge wear. VG. Other two have staple holes in blank top margin, otherwise VF. Signatures are bold and Exc. Comes w/vintage glossy original publicity photo of Glaser in suit. Exc. Graser (1909-1941) was the voice of the Lone Ranger from April 16,1933 until his untimely death in 1941. Beemer (1902-1965) was the shows announcer and also did personal appearances as the Lone Ranger. He took over as Lone Ranger’s voice in 1941, continuing until the last radio show Sept.3, 1954. Graser signature is exceedingly rare as he made no personal appearances for the show. A rare and historic document signed by three major Lone Ranger related figures.
