Item Description
From the same set as #973. This card is from the Habana Lions subset. Graded Poor because of surface paper wear on the reverse but front appearance is bright, clean and w/strong image. In our July 2012 auction we sold a SGC 30 Good 2 card of Hernandez for $1,197. Between 1905 and 1914 Hernandez played seven seasons in the Cuban Leagues and five seasons in the Negro Leagues. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
