Randall Ltd./Merit w/permission of Eagle Comics, the publisher of the British Dan Dare sci-fi stories. 1950s. This is version produced for the Italian market, hence Italian text on lid and original illustrated insert. Box shows nice image of these toys and Dan Dare using set to communicate w/personnel on space station. Box has moderate aging and lt. edge/corner tip wear. Corners remain tight and box retains rich colors. Fine. Walkie talkies have raised "Dan Dare Inter-Planetary Walkie-Talkie" name and three "Planetary Selectors" button settings marked "Saturn, Venus, Mars." This text is in English.
