"Mazinger" is a long-running series of manga (Japanese comic books) and anime (Japanese animation) featuring giant robots (or mecha, as they're known). The name is also pronounced "Mazinga," and has been known and marketed as such in several countries, including in the US. Set consists of belt w/metal buckle, 12" long holster w/Mazinga chest design leather attachment and large "Mazinga" sticker attached via staple (unused) and 11.75" long plastic battery-operated ray gun w/"Mazinga" label attached. Color catalog stapled to insert shows another model of this "Astro Pistol." Plastic lid shows heavy wear and is VG. Box features great images of Mazinga and supporting cast, w/back panel featuring them all. Box shows some wear w/creases and corner tip wear and is Fine overall. Contents remain NM as packaged.
