Item Description
16.25x18.75" frame contains double-matted animation cel showing The Grinch (after his heart grew three sizes) in his Santa Claus suit w/his dog Max on one knee and Cindy Lou Who on the other. Cel is from the Chuck Jones-directed Christmas TV special "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" which first aired on CBS-TV Dec. 18, 1966 and has aired regularly every year since then. Second mat has ©1966 MGM Inc. aged strip and this mat has been signed in black felt tip pen by Dr. Seuss and Jones, who wrote "Merry Christmas To Joe La Bira From Chuck Jones." Seuss's signature is bit light due to pen but still completely legible. Exc. and ready for display. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
