50.5x66.25" wood frame w/plexiglass holds 46.75x62.75" poster issued by Himalaya Film Company of Paris distributed by Ferdinand Weil. For c. 1920 French release of film originally released in 1914. Poster has title in French "Garçon de Café" and features wonderful image of Chaplin as a waiter trying to balance a bottle on a tray as he's being kicked. Poster has three horizontal and three vertical folds as issued w/bit of wear at a few fold crease intersections. Top center fold line has 6" split and upper left fold line has a few splits. Bit of wear around edges but overall poster retains a Fine appearance. Nicely framed and must be sent this way, shipping costs should be factored in when bidding. Ready for display. A wonderful vintage Chaplin item. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
