11-1/8x16" thin artboard featuring original pen and ink art by noted comic book artist Curt Swan (see previous item #2025). Offered here is the original art for page 25 of "Superman" #383, published by DC Comics in May 1983. Issue was written by Cary Bates w/interior art by Swan and inks by Dave Hunt. Five-panel page shows Superman battling villain Robrox on surface of the moon, throwing him into lunar lander. Superman appears in three of the five panels, last panels shows close-up of him using heat vision. Word balloon paste-overs in fourth and fifth panels. Inked editorial notations at margins. Three corners have 1" clip, but this affects art/text in no way. Scattered handling wear/aging w/some white correctional fluid touch-ups, but if matted and framed, art would display VF.
